What is a bench program?

It is a program designed to increase your bench press numbers.

What is the benefit of this program?

To strengthen the upper body muscles and increase the bench press numbers. Body weight movements (pull ups, push-ups) will also progress.

Do I need equipment for this program?

Yes. You need a barbell, bench, dumbbells, as well as other equipment.

How often are the exercises?

This program is twice a week.

Is this a beginner, intermediate, or advanced program?


What is a 1 rep max?

A 1 rep max is a test that assesses your strength in a movement. It is a max weight that you can lift for a single rep.

What if I don’t know my 1 rep max?

If you don’t know, we suggest doing more of a beginner program to figure that out. If you don’t know your 1 rep max, but you can ball park it, then this program might work for you.
